We are excited to announce Jannicke Mikkelsen, award-winning film photographer and vehicle commander for the upcoming Fram2 mission, as a speaker at Spaceport Norway 2024! Set to become Norway’s first astronaut, Jannicke will be part of the groundbreaking Fram2 mission, the first human spaceflight to explore Earth from a polar orbit.

While this will be Jannicke’s first journey into space, she brings extensive polar experience and a renowned background in filmmaking. Known for her pioneering work in 3D filming, virtual reality, and 360° video production, Jannicke has collaborated with NASA and produced stunning visuals for major projects like Queen’s VR concert experience. Her session at Spaceport Norway 2024 will explore how technology and space exploration inspire creativity in film and beyond.
