Artist

Øystein Runde (1979) creates comics that mix technological visions, alternative societies and Norwegian history. A hallmark of his series has been exploring genres that are underrepresented in Norway, such as Viking action in Olav Sleggja, body horror in Margarin (with co-author Kristopher Schau) and new twists on steampunk in the books De Fire Store (drawn by Geir Moen) and Futen (designed by Knut André Solberg), who both won the Ministry of Culture's award for best comic book novel. They will be available for purchase at Spaceport. With the research he put into his series, the transition to factbook was short, and in 2017 he wrote and drew Stem Cells - the body's superheroes. To research his next scifi project, COSMIC BULLET, he is creating an English-language podcast, Wunderdog, in which he interviews researchers such as Philip Lubin (Breakthrough Starshot), Cynthia Philips (Europe clipper) and Robin Hanson (the great filter / Age of Em). This is funded by supporters at patreon.com/runde. At Spaceport, he will present the Cosmic Bullet for the first time.

Space travel in the near future - pain or pleasure?

Brage W. Johansen

CEO / Serial Entrepreneur
Heimdall Power / Mars Institute ++

Two decades of working with sustainable, green technology, solutions, organisations and companies. A couple of historic highs: Cofounder and CEO of Zaptec - electric car charging infrastructure, today a billion NOK listed company. Cofounder and CEO of Desert Control - greening the desert with innovative agritech. Maybe the most important project in todays world. Now board member. Head of Hydrogen in Statoil (Equinor) - building Norway's first public hydrogen station in 2006 and producing a hydrogen concept sportscar called FYK. Cool, but Hydrogen seems continuously to be the fuel of the future... While working with green solutions for our home planet Earth, my other passion is Space tech, astronomy and cosmology. Humans are happy explorers living on a grain of dust in the outer rim of the Milky Way.
