Ane Mengshoel is a passionate diver with a love for exploring water-filled caves. She discovered the beauty of the underwater world in 2001, then totally fell in love with the caves in Florida in 2013 and has since then explored several caves and mines across the Nordic region. Ane is a part of the exploration team of Expedition Bjurälven, exploring the largest underwater cave system in Sweden wintertime. Previously, Ane served as the head of the Norwegian Cave Diving Association, and she currently leads the Norwegian Baromedical Association. Her strong organizational skills is a key asset to various diving teams and her energy at the dive sites is contagious. Professionally, she holds a Master of Science in Business and Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) and works as a project manager with a keen interest in risk management and teamwork. When not diving, Ane can often be found enjoying the outdoors; whether kayaking, ice skating, or hiking, - preferably ending her day with a single malt whisky.
