Arturs has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, with a strong background on research and innovation, business management, and technologies development and deployment. He is keen on introducing new and innovative solutions that can substantially change or improve user experience and create an environment for more efficient digital infrastructure. Arturs is a head of LMT’s Innovation Development Division and is leading the research and development activities at LMT in various directions: 5G at Sea, future positioning solutions, digital twin projects, 5G open networks development, non-terrestrial networks integration opportunities and others. Thus, over the last years, significant research and developments have been made in different EU projects with a contribution to the development of 5G technologies.
