Didzis Klavins is the Head of Sales and Business Development at Tilde, a leading European language technology company specializing in translation and localization, and a pioneer in custom machine translation (MT) systems and chatbots for the space industry. At Tilde, Didzis oversees global sales, manages key accounts with Fortune 500 companies, and drives international business development, helping organizations implement cutting-edge translation and localization projects. Tilde has been recognized as one of the top 100 translation companies globally, a ranking it has held for three consecutive years. Recently, Tilde won the prestigious European Commission’s "Large AI Grand Challenge" competition to develop a foundational Large Language Model (LLM) for European languages. Didzis holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Latvia and two master’s degrees, including one from the prestigious Europaeum program at Leiden University, Université Paris I – Panthéon-Sorbonne, and the University of Oxford. He is also the author of over 20 publications.
