Ethel Tolentino is the CEO of SolSys Mining, a company specializing in space resource utilization. She began her journey with SolSys in 2021 as the Research Manager, successfully completing a pilot project involving lunar hydroponics research. Soon after, she secured SolSys' first major grant from the European Space Agency’s Open Space Innovation Platform (ESA OSIP) and led the project to completion with notable results. Ethel also guided SolSys Mining through the ESRIC Space Resources Innovation Center (SSP) pre-incubation phase in Luxembourg. Currently, Ethel leads the LuNOR project, aiming to develop a novel lunar regolith simulant in Norway, contributing to advancements in lunar resource utilization.
