Jo Bjørnstad is an experienced, ambitious leader and advisor, managing the space technology team at Kjeller Innovation, which includes ESA Business Incubation Centre Norway 2.0, the Norwegian Space Cluster, and new programs and initiatives such as ESA BOOST, ESA Ambassador and Dual-Use. With over 15 years of experience across industries such as IT, logistics, space and business consulting, Jo has a strong focus on supporting startups, developing ecosystems, and driving innovation and internationalization leveraging the European ESA BIC network. He brings hands on insight and experience into the Norwegian support and funding system for innovation, challenging existing barriers for space tech startups and programs. Jo holds an MBA from the University of Washington and the University of Western Australia, has advised more than 100 startups and excels in driving collaboration and fostering continuous improvement across diverse sectors.
