Jøran Grande has a master's degree in space technology from UiT The Arctic University of Norway, campus Narvik, where he has also worked for two years as an Assistant Professor. For the past 16 years, he has worked at Andøya Space Education with a number of space-related educational activities and projects for students. He has for many years contributed to various student satellite projects both as a student and as an employee of Andøya Space.
