Kate Breach is Business Director of ispace Europe. Kate is an aerospace engineer and space sector partnerships and business development specialist, with a career that has spanned space policy, space regulation, corporate business development and military aerospace engineering. Kate has held commissions as an Engineering Officer in both the Royal New Zealand Air Force and the Royal Air Force in the UK, and worked in corporate project management and business development roles across New Zealand, Australia and the UK. In roles with the New Zealand Space Agency, Kate led regulation of space launch from New Zealand and worked with New Zealand space companies, universities, international space companies and other national space agencies like NASA, to further develop New Zealand’s space sector. Kate worked in consultant and partnerships roles with commercial space companies in Australia and New Zealand before pursuing her passion for space exploration with her current role as Business Director with ispace Europe. Kate holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with First Class Honours and a Master of International Relations.‍
