Lasse Clausen studied Physics at the Technical University in Braunschweig, Germany, before obtaining his Ph.D. from Leicester University, UK. Currently he is a professor at the University of Oslo, Norway, and studies the coupling between Earth's plasma environment with the upper atmosphere.
