Dr.-Ing. Sparsha Nagula is a project research engineer with a geotechnical engineering background at the Norwegian Geotechnical Institute (NGI) in Oslo, Norway. With a Summa Cum Laude PhD from TUHH, Germany and the Telford Gold Medal, she specializes in computational geomechanics, focusing on numerical-physical modelling, and hydro-mechanical coupled constitutive models in the field of offshore wind foundations, tailings, landslides, ground improvement, liquefaction mitigation and C02 storage. Her academic journey, began in India, is marked by numerous accolades for her outstanding achievements. Recently, Dr. Nagula has expanded her research to the lunar surface, studying the unique properties of lunar soil and its implications for engineering structures in space.
