Svein-Erik Hamran is a Professor at the University of Oslo working with geophysics and radar remote sensing. He is the Director of the Center for Space Sensors and System – CENSSS, a center for research-based innovation funded by the Research Council of Norway and the University of Oslo. He is Co-Principal Investigator for the WISDOM GPR instrument on the ESA ExoMars Mission. He is Principal Investigator for the RIMFAX GPR on the NASA Mars 2020 rover mission Perseverance currently operating on the planet Mars.
