Trygve Sparr is the Director of the Sensor and Surveillance Systems Division at the Norwegian Defence Research Establishment (FFI). He is a physicist by training, holding a PhD from the University of Tromsø in experimental radar physics. Dr. Sparr has broad experience with sensors, signal processing, analysis, operational processes and ICT systems. The Sensor and Surveillance Division deals with surveillance in the broad sense, from the bottom of the sea to outer space. This includes FFI’s main space systems effort.
